    Building on the foundational knowledge gained in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Educational Awareness course, the Advanced Transportation of Dangerous Goods program provides participants with a more in-depth understanding of the TDG Act and Regulations. 


    Participants will learn advanced classification methods, documentation practices, safety marking requirements, and emergency response strategies. 


    The course also covers special situations and exemptions under the TDG Act.

    Additionally, supervisors, members of Joint Health and Safety Committees (JHSC), and anyone responsible for the safe transportation of these materials should attend to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe work environment.

  • What's included in the In-person training?

    To provide a comprehensive learning experience for our participants. We provide all the necessary equipment, including:

    • IPAD devices containing the learning material

  • What should participants bring to an In-person training?

     

    • Lunch, snacks, etc.
    • Comfortable clothes.
    • Note taking tools.
  • What's needed for attending a virtual class?


    • A high-speed & stable internet connection.
    • A computer or tablet device. 
    • A functioning camera & microphone (turned on at all times)
  • What is the validity of the certificates of completion?

    Certificates of completion are valid for three years.

  • Can I transfer my certificate to a different employer?

    Yes!  However, a job specific and site specific refresher training is required with each employer anyways!  

  • What is the minimum class size for a private booking?

    The minimum class size for private bookings is 10 participants

  • Can I book a private training session with less than 10 participants?

    Yes, you can book a fall protection and working from heights training session with less than 10 participants. However, you will be charged for 10 students in total.

  • What is TDG training, and who needs it?

    TDG training is required for anyone involved in the handling, offering for transport, or transporting of dangerous goods. This includes shippers, carriers, and receivers of dangerous goods.

  • How often do I need to renew my TDG training?

    TDG training must be renewed every three years, or sooner if there are changes to the TDG regulations or if a worker's duties change.

    TDG training covers topics such as the classification of dangerous goods, packaging requirements, documentation, safety marks, and emergency response procedures.

  • Do I need TDG training if I only handle small quantities of dangerous goods?
